“The Fun bikes were extremely popular with lots of children and also some of their parents. Whenever I looked at your activity site it was extremely busy and your staff must have been pretty tired by the end of it all.”
“I would certainly be keen to use your services again for this kind of event and would also recommend it to other community groups and local primary schools”
“I think your charges are very reasonable and we certainly had excellent value for money”

“Crank it Up provided a range of alternative cycles for 300 or so young people and their families to try out. Although the day was marred by some extremely bad weather the Crank it Up workshop was the most well attended outside activity of the day. We received lots of very positive feedback from all the young people who attended and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wishing to explore cycling. We would definitely use them again in future events.”

“Our partnership, which consists of the NHS, council and education requested Crank it Up to provide various taster sessions over the Spring Bank holiday. The Crank it Up sessions went extremely well and I must say were the most popular sessions with the children, out of all the provision over the Spring Bank. The staff were very efficient and extremely professional, sticking to high safety regulations. The provision, variation and standard of the bikes were nothing like you could ever experience anywhere else.”
“Based on our experience of using Crank it Up I would be very forthcoming in recommending them: an excellent voluntary organisation, which deserves permanent funding to be able to offer this provision over the Bradford District for everyone to experience”

“Crank it Up attended East Morton Children’s Gala and I have nothing but admiration and praise for the work they do. When we invited them to attend we presumed that they would bring a few unusual bikes for everyone to have a go on but in fact an obstacle course and a track was made and there were 4-5 staff supervising this and giving instruction on Health & Safety and techniques for riding certain bikes. I feel that everyone benefited from the session and it has given a lot of children and adults a new lease of life for cycling, proving what fun can be had from this activity.”
“I would also like to thank to thank them for their professionalism at the event. I wish them every success for the future and hope to see them again.”

“I am writing to thank you and your volunteers very much for the cycling session you organised last week on behalf of the visually impaired people with whom I work. Everybody, myself included, thoroughly enjoyed the session and hope that we will be able to work with you again in the near future. The range of bikes and numerous volunteers on hand allowed the session to be pitched at the right level for each individual depending on their own level of sight, experience and fitness.”
The choice of the location was also excellent as prior to the session some people had anxieties regarding cycling where there may be a lot of traffic – either pedestrian or motor. In addition, the starting point was easily accessible for all with the route itself being very pleasant and not too challenging. The sculptures and art work on route made interesting stopping points.”
“Overall the session was well planned from start to finish with health & safety factors taken into consideration such as provision of helmets for all and seatbelts on the “four person” bike. Having a spare rider at the front of the group to cycle ahead checking the route, and likewise one at the rear to ensure there were no problems were very considerate.”
“Once again, a massive thank you to you and your volunteers who were polite and friendly throughout. Although many had little experience of working with people with visual impairments, they were very professional and by no means patronising like is often the case, with some poignant relationships developing in a very short space of time. Hopefully the opportunity will arise for these to develop further?”

“I am writing on behalf of the sportKeighley Partnership to thank the Crank-It-Up team formally for the support you have given at various events over the past couple of years, including sportKarnival, the Tour of Britain celebrations in Keighley and the launch of the Keighley “CyKle” initiative.”
“The feedback from participants on all occasions has been excellent and everyone from all walks of life and of all shapes and sizes have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get involved in cycling in all sorts of ways.”
“As you know we are working hard to create a superb centre for cycling in Keighley and District, and we truly value the support that Crank-It-Up provides in ensuring that cycling is, and is seen to be, available to the whole community. Although it has not happened yet it would be great to see you based in our locality in the future.”
“We look forward to the forthcoming Keighley Linking Schools CyKle Challenge that you are taking part in and many more great cycling events over the summer.”
